Pick-up around 7am, one rest stop, arrival in Marrakech by 10:30. A local guide walks you through the medina — the Koutoubia, the souks, usually Bahia Palace — for two to three hours, then you get free time around Jemaa el-Fna, the great square that turns from juice stalls by day to open-air theatre by late afternoon. Departure is around 16:30-17:00, back at your Agadir hotel by 20:00-20:30. It's a long, full day, and you'll sleep well.
Who should go — and who shouldn't
Go if you've never been to Marrakech and probably won't base a holiday there: one intense day beats never seeing it. Think twice if you're travelling with small children, if long coach days exhaust you, or if crowds and persistent souk selling sound like a trial — Marrakech is wonderful and relentless in equal measure.
