What the morning looks like
Pick-up is early — around 5am depending on the season — and you'll watch the balloon inflate as the sky lightens, which is half the theatre. The flight itself lasts around an hour, drifting over farmland, argan groves and the foothills with the Atlas on one side and the ocean on the other. After landing comes a proper Berber breakfast in a tent: msemen pancakes, amlou, eggs, mint tea. You're back at your hotel by mid-morning with the whole day still ahead.
Shared, deluxe or private?
The shared flight at €205 – €260 is a lovely experience and the right choice for most people — the basket is compartmentalised, so it never feels crowded. Deluxe mainly buys you elbow room.
